About this workshop

We cordially invite the Vietnamese business research community to attend a panel discussion on how to conduct research and publish in leading journals. The panelists will include both local and international leading researchers, editors, and leaders from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Vietnam.

Our panelists are currently senior/associate editors, and senior researchers at tier 1 journals including Proceedings of the National Academic of Science (PNAS), MIS Quarterly, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Administrative Science quarterly, etc.

This research workshop will offer a unique opportunity for Vietnamese academics to hear from renowned editors.

The event has two sections:

  • Section 1: A guideline from research to publication – panel discussion with Prof. Hongbin Cai (Dean of the HKU Business School & Chair of Economics) and Prof. Le Vu Quan (Professor of Economics)
  • Section 2: Vietnam Chapter of the Association for Information Systems – panel discussion with Tuan Q. Phan (Chief Representative of HKU-VN), Su H. Le (Vice President & Dean of Faculty of IS at UEL), Duy Dang (Senior Lecturer at RMIT VN) and Thuan Nguyen (Senior Program Manager at RMIT VN)

There will also be a Research Showcase session where scholars will showcase their research in the form of a poster. More details of the event and the registration link are included on this website:
